Not sure what your size means in another system? Here’s how the most common sizing standards work - and why they sometimes differ between brands.
EU sizing
The most common system in Europe - often similar, but not identical across brands.
US sizing
Separate men’s and women’s scales - conversions vary by manufacturer.
UK sizing
Used widely in the UK - typically differs from US by about 1 size, but brand charts matter.
CM / JP sizing
Based on foot length in centimeters - great if you know your measured foot length.
How to measure foot length (in CM)
For the most accurate result, measure your foot from heel to toe and use the CM value as your reference.
Where our size data comes from
Whenever possible, we use official brand size charts. When a brand doesn’t provide a complete mapping, we show an approximation and label it clearly.
Official
Directly from the brand’s published chart
Approx
Derived conversion, marked as approximate
Missing
No reliable mapping yet (we’ll show what’s missing)
FAQ
Are shoe sizes the same across brands?
No. Even if two brands use the same “EU 42”, the fit can differ due to lasts, materials, and brand sizing rules.
Why do men’s and women’s US sizes differ?
US men’s and women’s scales are different. Always pick the correct gender chart when converting.
Is CM sizing the most accurate?
Often yes - CM is based on foot length. It’s a strong reference when moving between brands.
What does “unisex” mean in sizing?
Unisex usually follows a men’s scale, but it depends on the brand. We label the chart type when known.
Why do some conversions show “Approx”?
Some brands don’t publish full conversions. In that case we provide an approximation and mark it clearly.
