Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 February 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sizetab (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use sizetab.com (the “Service”).
1) Data Controller & Contact
The Service is operated by a private individual under the name Sizetab.
For any privacy-related questions, contact: contact@sizetab.com
2) What information we collect
We collect only the information needed to run and improve the Service:
A. Server and security logs
Our hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical data such as IP address, timestamps, request details, device/browser information, and error logs. This helps keep the Service secure and working properly.
B. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Service (e.g., page views, approximate device information, aggregated usage). GA4 is designed so that it does not log or store IP addresses; for EU traffic, IP addresses are dropped before logging.
C. Aggregated product-usage statistics
We may store aggregated counts (e.g., which brands/systems are selected most often) to understand popularity trends. These counters are not intended to identify individual users.
3) Cookies
We use only GA4 analytics cookies.
Common GA4 cookies include:
_ga(used to distinguish visitors; typically up to 2 years)_ga_<container-id>(used to persist session state for GA4; typically up to 2 years)
Note: Some browsers may shorten cookie lifetimes automatically (e.g., due to anti-tracking features).
4) Why we process data (purposes) and legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under the GDPR on the following bases:
- Service security and reliability (server logs, troubleshooting)
Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - Analytics (GA4 cookies)
Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
5) Sharing your information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Hosting / infrastructure providers (to host and operate the website)
- Google (as provider of Google Analytics 4)
6) International data transfers
Because we use Google services, information may be processed outside the EEA (including the United States). Google states compliance with applicable transfer frameworks, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified entities.
7) Data retention
- Server logs: retained only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
- GA4 data: retention depends on the settings configured in GA4 (Google provides data retention controls).
8) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection (legitimate interests), and withdrawing consent at any time (analytics cookies).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO).
9) Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
10) Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us.
11) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
